This filter pump, compatible with sand and filter balls, is an excellent choice for keeping pools and spas clean without additives or chemicals. The filter pump relies on a natural filtration system: water is pumped into a tank containing silica sand that absorbs impurities and particles to produce clean water. The pre-filter basket is an additional mechanism that filters to trap larger particles such as leaves, hair, and dirt. It also protects the pump impeller and helps the pump run continuously more smoothly. This filter pump features a 7-way valve, which can be adjusted to different settings to filter pool water, close (stop water flow), backwash (to clean the sand bed), rinse (for initial startup, cleaning, and leveling the sand bed), drain pool water, circulate pool water, and winterize for off-season storage. Thanks to the reinforced plastic housing, this pool filter pump ensures all-weather performance, offering a long service life. Please note: Sand or filter balls are not included in the delivery.
