Rigid FFP2 Mask with Valve

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place your fingers inside the mask. Bend the nose clip around your fingers to shape it to your nose.
2. Hold the respirator in position over your nose and mouth with the head straps around the back of your hand. Pull the bottom strap over your head and adjust it around the back of your neck.
3. Pull the top strap over your head, positioning it just above your ears.
4. Using both hands, position the nose clip around your nose and move the head straps to ensure a positive face seal.
5. Seal check:
a. To test the fit of a mask without an exhalation valve, place both hands over the respirator and exhale sharply.
b. To test the fit of a mask with an exhalation valve, place both hands over the mask and inhale sharply. Negative pressure should be detected inside the mask.
c. If you feel airflow in the nose area, readjust/tighten the nose clip.
d. If you feel airflow around the edges of the mask, reposition the mask/headband to achieve a better fit.
e. Change the mask immediately if breathing becomes difficult or the mask becomes damaged or distorted.
f. Change the mask if an adequate face seal cannot be achieved.
g. Careful observance of these instructions is an important step in the safe use of the mask.
