Blind Spot Sticker for Trucks
- Dimensions: 25x17 cm
- Mandatory blind spot sticker for driving in France.
- As of January 1, 2021, all heavy vehicles (over 3500 Kg. GVW for tractors, rigid trucks, buses, vans, trailers, and semi-trailers) circulating in France are required to be equipped with stickers showing the position of blind spots.
- The measure was adopted by the French Government to strengthen the protection of vulnerable road users (cyclists, pedestrians, scooter users, etc.) on public roads. It will apply to all heavy vehicles traveling in urban environments.
- The decree published on 11/20/2020, regarding the signage indicating vehicle blind spots, specifies its location: it must be visible on both sides as well as on the rear of the vehicle. This sticker-shaped signage will have a size of 25 x 17 cm.
- They will be placed in 3 positions:
> Front right, less than 1m. from the front of the vehicle, at a height between 0.90m. and 1.50m.
> Front left, less than 1m. from the front of the vehicle, at a height between 0.90m. and 1.50m.
> On the rear right of the vehicle, at a height between 0.90m. and 1.50m.
